Since its foundation in 1981, the management consultancy “Unternehmensberatung Dipl.-Kfm. Claus-Peter Barfeld” has been concentrating its efforts on the recruitment of top- and senior-level executives as well as highly qualified specialists. We also support our clients in the placement of supervisory and advisory board positions.

Since 1990 our activities in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions have been pooled in “Barfeld & Partner GmbH”. This company focuses on M&A advisory for medium-sized companies and group holdings.

Through our psychologist-supported Integration Coaching, we assist executives during the first few months in their new work environment to become fully accepted and at home. Early recognition and resolution of integration problems will minimise the risk of new executives deciding to leave prematurely while simultaneously enhancing their satisfaction and motivation.

Our portfolio is topped off by our Newplacement services. We offer professional support to companies or individuals if an employment contract has been cancelled. On the one hand, the individual will be enabled to successfully relaunch its career. On the other hand, negative effects on the public image of a company can be reduced.

Our clients include industrial, commercial and service enterprises, 60 % of which are group companies and 40 % SME. The large proportion of long standing clients is indicative of the high reputation we have gained amongst executives.

A lot of our customers do not only work on a national but on an international level. Therefore we offer our services in other European countries besides Germany, such as Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg.
